Dell puts Wi-Max in Mini 1012

Wi-Max is not the sort of thing that you would expect to find in a mini laptop, but it appears from the details uncovered by wirelessgoodness.com the company intends to install the Intel 6250 Wi-Max chipset into the Mini 1012.

This is nice move by Dell, but Wi-Max is one of those services that’s great if you can get it, which is normally in cities and large towns. The downside is like cellular coverage if you are out of the area then Wi-Max means nothing to the user.

No doubt Dell will be tying up some deal with a service provider too!
