FOUR reasons to never buy an ASUS laptop or notebook:
1) My ASUS dvd burner does not read it's own dvd's, it burns a dvd that it can't read afterwards, but the dvd's can be read on other computers.
2) Battery lasted for only the first 3 months, after that it could not hold a charge,
and I could not run laptop on AC power without the battery inside the laptop.
3) Sound card stopped working after a month.
4) The laptop is always overheating and turning off without warning.
ASUS notebooks are the worst notebooks on the planet, don't waste your money!!
