The Asus S121 mini laptop
This may have a 12.2 inch display, but what makes this computer so special is the fact that it is the first computer to have a 512 Gb SSD.
This machine only weighs in at just less than three pounds, but when using the S121 on battery power, it is estimated that it could last up to eight hours, which is something pretty spectacular as too is the Atom Z520 processor.

The Asus s121 mini-laptop, a real prize! Up to 8 hours on battery you say? Almost all night on one battery pack! Can I charge the battery with solar cells? Of course I can! Off-grid computing in economical form. I love it! Soon, we will all be off-grid, working part-time or “occasional” work, since all else has gone off-shore, but we don’t really care, it gives us more time for our vegan lives, veggie patches and internet communications by solar cell phone, local solar re-transmitters, and satellite, coming soon to your neighborhood! Wireless people at last, and low power, solar too, try and tax the life out of that, mister “Man”!
