For some time the ASUS Eee PC 1016P Seashell 10.1″ Netbook has been on pre sale at Best Buy and other online retailers such as Excalibur, but now it seems that the netbook is to appear on the official Asus website following approval from the FCC.
Therefore, that means that although the machine has been approved, we are still awaiting Asus to see what sort of price level they will be hitting the market with. Excalibur are currently offering the machine at around $500, the official price listing is $530!
