Acer release new 10.1 inch netbook

This is the Aspire One D255 from Acer, it has been doing the rounds for some time but now it has come out of hiding and is looking good too, even though it is based on the familiar D260 but don’t hold that against it! The main difference will be the dual core processor; it uses the Intel Atom N550, which is a good piece of kit to have on board.

These are the details and specs of the new Asus 10.1 inch netbook:

10.1 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024 x 699, plus Intel GMA 31509 integrated graphics, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, dual Core Intel Atom N550 processor, dual 1.5GHz cores with 512KB of L2 cache, choice of hard drives up to 250GB, integrated 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a six cell battery

No details of prices or a release date yet
