It’s about time that Acer brought out a new netbook and it seems that we may not have too long to wait as there have been some bug reports filed on Linux and Google Chrome that indicate there is a new machine in works.
From the data filed some basic specs have been determined from a machine that has not been previously heard of, although there is a rumour that the reports are also related to an Acer Laptop that failed to make it to market.
A few of the details for the new Acer netbook running chrome:
•1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 CPU
•1GB of memory
•8GB SanDisk pSSD (solid state disk)
•Ambient light sensor
•Wi-Fi, Bluetooth wireless connectivity
