AMD wants to go small
Advanced Micro Devices is looking to produce a range of laptop, which are powered by their mobile chips. This announcement comes ahead of the CES in Las Vegas, which clearly means that there will be some sort of announcement at the show.
This new platform is going to be known as Yukon, it will include small and affordable laptops that provide the full computer experience, and it will be like using a desktop but in a mini laptop sized device. These laptops will be light and ultraportable and have screen sizes of ten to fourteen inches.
