Unfortunately the Portage M780 has been launched in Africa, Europe and in the Middle East, so Toshiba fans in Asia and the US are going to have to wait a little bit longer.

why oh why do toshiba continue to impress us with tech spec but let us down by making dull brick style kit. specs on anything are usualy great nowerdays so choice can come down to style and colour choice, if it aint got the wow facter it wont sell. black plastic costs the same as coloured plastic doesnt it? i had the previous m700, it was a great spec but no one said wow, i then got the hp 2710p not as good spec but virtually everyone that saw it showed an interest in the sleek shiney silver tablet!
come on tosh – give us what we want, we want BLING!!!
Does anyone know whether this next generation portege will have the smart bay feature OR if the DVD is in a fixed bay?
