You have to go back to 1985 to find the early laptops and of course they were nothing like the laptops around today, you just never appreciate how lucky you are until you come across something like this.
Check out this model, it is a Toshiba model T1100, it has a mono screen, but this is only half a screen by the looks of it and judging by the memory these is probably not much more than basic word processing done with this machine.
These are some of the specs and features for the Toshiba T1100 laptop:
256KB RAM, QWERTZ keyboard, a 4.77 MHz Intel Processor, no hard drive, floppy disk drive and weighs 4.1 kg
It was priced at a massive $1899 in 1985
