Sony Vaio’s overheating!

According to a statement by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), there is a certain amount of Sony Vaio laptops that could be prone to overheating issues. The CPSC have received around thirty complaints about the problem.

The total amount computers affected by this problem is well over half a million and with only ninety thousand being sold in Europe that’s a lot to go around the rest of the world. The problem affects machines with the serial numbers beginning with VPCF11 and VPCW2.

There is a support page on the Sony Site, where help can be found, but currently the company are issuing the machines with updated Bios settings, which should solve the problem.
