Mobile Demand launches the xTablet C1200

The xTablet C1200 Convertible Tablet PC from Mobile Demand is a new rugged and tough laptop, designed to work in a world where normal laptops and netbooks would not last very long. These rugged machines are quite impressive being able to withstand being dropped, knocked and are to a certain extent water and liquid proof.

This new laptop offers the user a 12.1 inch convertible TFT backlit touchscreen display offering the sunlight readable option with a 1280 × 800 pixel resolution, the laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5 520UM processor with Turbo Boost up to 1.86 GHz and the graphics are provided through the Intel HM55 chipset graphics card.

a 12.1-inch (1280×800) convertible TFT backlit touchscreen with a sunlight readable display option, an Intel Core i5 520UM processor with Turbo Boost up to 1.86GHz, an Intel HM55 chipset and a 2GB RAM (upgradeable up to 8GB). For storage, the rugged Tablet PC relies on a choice of 64GB-256GB Solid State drives (a shock-mounted HDD option is also available), while the tablet also comes with an Express 34 card slot, SDHC card reader, and I/O ports with USB, e-SATA, serial, audio and smart card reader, a 1.3 mega-pixel camera, as well as WLAN and WWAN compatibility, optional Bluetooth and Gobi 2000 radio for 3G communication and GPS
