Samsung have been working on a rival to Pixel Qi display that use less power than the usual LCD’s and can switch between screen to make reading what is on the screen when the sun is shining directly on the screen.
At the moment this type of technology is desirable but not readily available, but with Samsung demonstrating its version of the technology with two different modes, the e-paper style and the full colour mode. So far, the screen is 10.1 inches in size, resolution of 320 x 250 pixels and display 64 colours.
