HP has “hinted” consumers about their new HP Mini 1000, supposedly 2.25lbs and less than 1″ thin, rivaling other great netbooks.

Although there’s no full specs on this little beast yet, the following is for sure:

  • Starting price of $399
  • Weight begins at 2.25 pounds, which is a little less than the HP Mini-note
  • Under 1-inch in thickness
  • Like the Acer Aspire One, the left and right mouse betters truly are left and right… of the trackpad.
  • The large screen bezel of the 8.9-inch Mini-note is gone; we’re guessing a 10-inch display

What do we think?  It looks pretty good for $399.99, much better than HP 2133 Mini-note.

I’d keep refreshing HP’s e-store until you can order one.  (That’s my advice for now but HP Mini 1000 looks promising for shezzy)
