This time last year the only solid state drive (SSD) that you could get from Dell was a 64 Gb version, but a year on things have changed dramatically within this sector of the industry, which has opened up new frontiers for the company.

Yet this technology will not come cheap, anyone interesting in adding the 256 Gb SSD to their Dell XPS configuration will have to pay an additional $400, which is always the way, this time next year things may well be completely different.
