cNet’s top holiday laptop picks – Dell Mini 9 and Gateway T-6838
Hey gang, I know you might be tired of hearing about Christmas ideas, but with netbooks more popular than ever and an economic squeeze on most people’s wallets this Christmas, it’s the perfect time to talk about why the under $500 laptops make a great gift idea.
cNet has their top picks for laptop gifts out, and as you can see, netbooks are all the rage.
The Dell Mini 9 is their top pick for a netbook, and with a recent price drop, it’s mine too. Although, I do also like the HP Mini 10.
For medium to full-sized laptops, the cNet crew picked the Gateway T-6838, which is a little surprising to me, but I’ll let them explain:
