This sort of thing is only of interest to certain computer users, those who like to cover their laptops with a decal of some sorts, what these do is give the machine a great individual identity making noticeable anywhere and protects it too.
What you can do is cut the Apple logo out carefully, which enables the glow to show through, as it should. A point to remember is that these are supposed to peel off again without leaving any residue at all.
