Apple launches new unibody

by David Allen on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

Many Apple fans will be rejoicing at the fact that the old style plastic MacBook body is going to be replaced by a sharper looking unibody design; this means that the range of Apple computers will have a similar look to them.

At the same time, the computer itself has been slightly reworked to offer the buyer a faster processor, better graphics and larger hard drive.

Specs – 13.3 inch 1280 x 800 glossy LED backlit display, 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB graphics card, a 2 GB RAM (up to 4 GB), a 250 GB hard drive, a glass multi-touch track pad, a built-in SuperDrive, a built-in iSight camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB ports, a Mini Display Port, Gigabit Ethernet and a built-in lithium-polymer battery that provides up to 7 hours. In Apple’s stores for $999.
