You only have to look at the what’s happening at the movies to know that 3D is the next big thing and this is set to become big in the home too with broadcasters looking to launch 3D TV and manufacturers coming up with 3D TV’s the next logical step would be 3D laptops.
It seems that Acer have become the first computer maker to come up with a version named the Acer Aspire 5738PG, this is supposed to be a full 3D laptop. It uses Acer 3D CineReal and TriDef Suite, as well as a 3D coating on the screen and of course the polarized glasses.
Its early days for this, but initially the race to bring out a viable 3D laptop could have been won by Acer, although we need to see it working first of course!
