Review of the slim line Acer Aspire One

It looks as if Acer are about to launch a slimmer version of the Aspire One, these images are looking very much like a regular Aspire but with a slimmer chassis, which begs the question what is going on at Acer? Is this just a simple change of style or is there something more serious going on.

1024 x 600 pixel display

1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU

1GB of RAM

Two SD card slots, one of which can be used as extra storage when using Linux

Linux OS

160 GB hard drive in lieu of a solid state disk.

802.11a/b/g modem

Bluetooth

3 cell/3 hour battery

Measures 10 x 7.3 x .9
