As with every launch of a Windows operating system, there is an air of excitement initially. Then as the details begin to trickle out that is when the issues begin to turn up. The problem for mini laptop owners seems to be the limitations of the start edition. These range from not being able to change the wallpaper to being limited on how many applications can be run at one time.
WIndows 7 Starter Editions limitations are so far:
Three app limit (still up in the air, according to the above director)
No multi-touch capability (touch screen).
No enhanced previews along the taskbar.
No starting your own Home Group.
No changing your background wallpaper.
