Origin launches the EON 17

The top computer maker Origin have launched its latest offering to the gaming community, it is the EON 17 and it promises to be something very special indeed, although as gamers will already know this sort of computing power does not come cheap!

This is what the user can expect to be getting in the base model of the Origin EON 17; 17.3 inch Full high definition 1080p Wide LCD 16:9 Aspect Ratio with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, powered by the Intel CoreTM i7-920 2.66 GHz 8 MB Cache 45nm, graphics come via the Single 1.5 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics card and a handy Built in 9 in 1 Media Card Reader (MMC / RSMMC / MS / MS Pro / MS Duo / SD / Mini SD / SDHC / SDXC)

Gamers can expect to fork out around $2,400 for the base model, but with potential upgrades waiting on the configuration pages, the price of this machine could easily touch $3,000 and beyond, Ouch!
