Nvidia launching its own netbook

The chip maker Nvidia has confirmed that they will be bringing out their own brand of netbook later on in the year that will be powered by the new Tegra chip, which will also be used in the Zune HD. This new netbook could be the big seller this Christmas especially as it is due to be released on Black Friday.

Features:

Prototype model possibly called Elan it will be created by a company called Mobinnova

It is an 8.9 inch screen

Wi-Fi

3G wireless connectivity

A webcam for video conferencing

Microsoft’s CE operating system

Final version could use Google’s Android OS

Release date “Black Friday”

Prices to be announced but is expected to be around $200
