With the introduction of Windows 7 due out in October there would seem to a rush from manufacturers to bring out the first multitouch laptop, these new style machines will offer the user the ability for the first time to get hands with their computer screen.
This is good news for the colour filter makers, as it is this technology that enables multitouch to work in the first place. One such producer of this technology is Cando and they are reporting orders from Acre, HP and Lenovo for capacitive touch panels. This means only one thing multitouch screen laptops are on their way.
