The basic price is $549 or if you want to go with AT&T then a subsidised version is available at $299 so long as the buyer takes out a two contract with the carrier.
The price may initially seem high, especially when compared with the iPad, but you cannot make calls from an iPad and the Dell Streak is still cheaper than the iPhone 4 too, so in fact Dell have positioned the Streak right in the middle of the ball park.
