LG launch 18.5” laptop monitor

Laptops, notebooks and netbooks are brilliant for people who are not required to sit at a desk 24/7, but there are occasions when the small displays are just not good enough. This is especially true when the user wants to view video or play games.

Maybe this is why manufacturers such as LG are working on monitors that can easily be connected to the laptop to offer a larger display when the user is at their desk. This is the 18.5″ monitor on display at the World IT Show 2009 in Korea, it features a 30,000:1 contrast ratio and a 5ms response speed.
