It seems that the home market will be getting their hands on the LePad tablet device from Lenovo as the company prepares to launch the tablet in China before anywhere else.
The LePad is an innovative device that offers the user a tablet and a netbook style docking device, it is ideal for normal word processing functions but the user has the option of portability with the tablet too.
The specs are little sketchy at the moment, but will be something like this; a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, runs Google Android 2.2 Froyo, custom Linux user interface running on top, optional keyboard docking station, 1.2 GHz Intel Core i5-540UM CULV processor or the newer 1.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1 GB to 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 320GB hard drive.
Prices are expected to start at around $399, but could quickly rise up to $500 depending on upgrades etc.
