The people over at Intel have been working the replacement for the Intel Atom N270 processor; initially it is being called the Atom N450. This new processor is going to belong to an integrated platform, which is to be known as the Pine Trail.
The launch date is said to be around October this year where it will have a single core Atom N450 CPU that also comes with northbridge functions built in and will be paired with the new chipset, the NM10 “Tiger Point”. This chip is supposed to be lighter and more energy efficient to work with the new and much slimmer laptops that are coming to the market.
