Hybrid netbooks cannot have XP

Fortunately, there are not too many hybrid laptops around, the only one that is popular and available is the MSI’s 10-inch Wind U115 Hybrid, this uses the 8 Gb solid state drive (SSD) and also at the same time has a 160 Gb hard drive (HHD).

This means that the user can switch between the two in order to save on power usage, by disabling the HHD the user can effectively get more out of the battery, which can come in very useful, when power is limited. However, Microsoft does not seem to agree and are trying to ban the computer makers from using Windows XP in laptops that have a hybrid storage system.
