Traditionally these computers that can be held in one hand have been available for around the $200 mark, but recently some of these deals have been highlighted as being refurbished or second hand. A buyer needs to be careful as to what they are buying and where from.
However, for computer buyers in Taiwan, Asus have been slashing the prices of the 7″ and 8.9″ Eee PC models. It is quite possible to pick up a brand new Asus Eee PC 701 in Taiwan for around $150 and in China the 8.9″ Asus can be bought for just $220, it would be nice if they shared the love around!
