When you think about operating systems, it is normally Linux and Microsoft that dominate the marketplace, but there could be another kid on the block soon as it seems that the mobile operating system from Google, Android can work on computers too.

It is known as a mobile operating system, but the Android OS can easily be transferred to a computer too, some researchers have has it running on a couple of Asus Eee computers for some time, this is mainly because of the open source drivers which is making easier to convert. Could this be the beginning of a technology led advance into the computing world Google.
