Friday Laptop Hack and News Roundup

Hey Gang, I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving, or a nice Thursday if you don’t celebrate the holiday.

I’m back today with a new hack and some laptop news from around the globe.

The hack today is for all you Mac fans out there. This video will teach you how to use the iPhone as a wireless router anywhere you go. A great tip and excellent hack. You need an iPhone and it has to be hacked, or “jailbraked,” to run some of the software.

As for the news around the net, everyone is out shopping today. And with so many great laptop deals out there, combined with a push for netbooks, I’m curious to see if laptops make big sales today.

Smaller newspapers are covering Black Friday, with Best Buy getting most the coverage for its deals.

PC World is reporting that analysts are predicting that mobile data will continue to be the next big movement in technology, with much of Europe already gearing up for the change.

Just like me, cNet is wondering about the netbook’s future, and if the recent decision by AMD to stay away will force Intel to go all in or go home.

Well kids, thanks for reading this week. We’ll be back next week with more laptop news and hacks, reviews and specs.

Until then. , , , , , , , , , ,
