Could be it be true that Microsoft are planning to get a slimmed down version of their new operating system Windows 7 onto the latest mini laptops being offered by computer makers? It would seem that it could well be true and that a starter edition could be the answer.
This would mean that the new operating system could be going head to head with the Linux systems that are currently very popular with the mini laptop makers. However, would this mean Microsoft having to give away yet more software in order to compete, we will have to wait and see it this really does happen in the first place to find that one out.
