The Wi-Max net provider has launched a new version of its 3G modem; it will allow Mac users to connect to the providers 3G/4G Wi-Max network.

The kit is an updated version of the U300, so it comes with the product come number U301, the most important update is the fact that is supports the Mac OS X and will allow users of both Leopard and Snow Leopard to get connected to the mobile internet while on the move.

In a Sprint network coverage area a user can expect to receive a 3 Mbps to 6 Mbps connection speed, in other areas the speed will be reduced to a service from 600 Kbps to 1.4 Mbps.
