I am wondering what you need at the remote site to run the cam. Can you run it off a router only? Do you need a laptop or will a mini PC or Netbook work? How much hardware support do you need to have at the remote location? How secure is the manipulation of the online connection? I don’t want a thief hacking the connection remotely and finding out where the camera is, how to disable it, or how it works.
