Lenovo launch convertible IdeaPad

This could be what many computer users have been waiting for, it’s an 11.6 inch IdeaPad from Lenovo that actually quickly converts into a multi touch tablet offering the user complete portability and functionality.

The specs are what you would expect to see from a netbook, but it’s the tablet part that is going to be the selling feature, although when it hits the shelves it will carry a price tag of $999 Ouch!

Specs – 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) multi-touch tablet device, 4GB RAM (512MB in tablet mode) and can support a 128GB SSD (16GB is used for the tablet), two USB ports, eSATA, VGA, HDMI, 4-in-1 card reader, a 1.3MP webcam, operating system is Windows 7 and weighs 1.7kg (3.7lbs), the tablet weighs 0.7kg (1.6lbs) and is priced at $999
