It has been a while since we first laid our eyes on the interesting Android powered tablet device from Cisco known as the Cius. However, to describe this as a tablet would not do it justice, as the Cius is much more than just that. It seems according to the rumour mill that Google and LG are working on a new tablet device under the Nexus brand. This device will be running the latest Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb and if this is all true, we should be getting the first look at this device by the end of the summer! This is a smart move by Google as they are able to come up with a design that is state of the art and unlike other tablets, this one would be able to get first stab at software updates as the manufacturer would not be getting any influence in this department. AnyDATA launches two new tablets

The US based manufacturer AnyDATA has released details on two new tablets, both will have a seven inch display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, powered by Qualcomm processors and will weigh less than a pound. The only difference would appear to be the operating system; the AMD120 will use Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, while the AMD810 will be running Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. This is what AnyDATA said via a recent press release on the AMD120 and the AMD810 tablets; The instant-on AMD120 offers Wi-Fi connectivity; it will launch with the Gingerbread OS and is upgradeable to Honeycomb.
