It has been a long wait but finally Asus have let the Windows 7 Home Premium and Intel based Eee Slate EP121 and the Android 3.0 and Nvidia’s Tegra 2 SoC powered Eee Pad Transformer onto the European market.

These two tablets are in fact poles apart, in price and specs, making the buyer choose between the highly portable Eee Slate EP121 against the less portable but more usable Eee Pad Transformer.

Asus may rename Eee Tablet before launch

It seems that Asus are looking to move away from the usual branding and despite showing off the Eee Tablet at this year’s Computex; it looks as if the company are looking at other names such as Eee Note or Digital Note.

The device is clearly a tablet with a 2,450 dpi touch screen, 0.1 second page turns and an eight inch display with 1024 x 768 pixels.
