VTech launch the InnoPad


The InniPad from VTech is sort of a tablet device aimed at kids aged between four and nine, it is reminiscent of those Texas Instrument devices of the past, except in this the computing power is substantially improved.

The device offers a five inch touch sensitive screen, with built in tile sensor, plugs for microphone and headphones and ports for USB and SD cards. The programmes come in the form of cartridges, which is another feature from past machines.

Dell partners with Nickelodeon


The computer maker Dell has collaborated with the kids TV channel Nickelodeon to build a special edition netbook aimed at the younger computer user, or maybe not! The Disney Netpal ready to pre-order

The giant kids retailer Toys “R” Us are taking order for the much awaited Asus Disney netbook that is going to be know in the future as the MK90 Netpal. This 8.9 inch computer is listed on the kids store site as being exclusive and the first deliveries are expected to be made on the 3rd August.

Disney have collaborated with the Taiwan based computer maker Asus to produce what they have called the Netpal, it is an 8.9″ mini laptop aimed the kids market.
