The device offers a five inch touch sensitive screen, with built in tile sensor, plugs for microphone and headphones and ports for USB and SD cards. The programmes come in the form of cartridges, which is another feature from past machines. Kids can play and learn with their favourite characters, such as Toy Story, Dora the Explorer and Disney Princesses. This expanding library of cartridges starts with nine titles at launch, including: Disney/Pixar’s Cars 2 Disney Fairies Disney Princess Dora the Explorer Mickey Mouse Clubhouse The Penguins of Madagascar Scooby-Doo SpongeBob Squarepants Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story Priced at around $79.99, the cartridges are priced at $24.99.
When you think of a cheap tablets, you would not normally expect them to amount to much, but the SL 7 Tablet device from Suli looks to be slightly different to the usual cheaper tablet devices on the market. The SL 7 is of course a seven inch display tablet with capacitive multi touch technology and a Rockchip RK2818 (ARM 9 600 mhz + 550 mhz new high performance DSP) performance would seem to be assured and with a price tag of around $250 the SL 7 sounds very interesting indeed. Running a Rockchip RK2818 (ARM 9 600 mhz + 550 mhz new high performance DSP) with Glass type seven inch Capacitive multi-touch touch screen, the tablet will be running the Google Android OS, it is 3G USB dongle compatible through the USB host connector, plays back mp4 and rmvb video at up to 1280 × 720 (bitrates/high profiles not yet confirmed). While the Rockchip RK2818 processor improves web browsing as opposed to the precious RK2808 version Price at around $250 Source [Eee PC] a SL 7 Tablet, Speciality Laptops, Suli launch, Tablet News, Tablets
a

As incredible as it may sound, this is not a typo or mistake, a touchscreen tablet style computer has gone on sale in India at the staggering price of just $35! If you think that is low then think again because the makers are planning to drop the price further in order to offer the nation a $10 computer! The device is primarily designed to be used by students, but eventually these computers could be rolled out to everyone in the country that wants one. Clearly this device is not going to compete with the iPad, but it demonstrates that getting people online and using computers as a matter course. The device has no hard drive, they use memory cards instead but at that price is it going to matter?
Being a Japanese firm PC Koubou appear to be just marketing their latest model the Lesance NB 7HP CL637GW Type R laptop, there is nothing to say that it will ever appear in on the shores of the US or in that case Europe either. It has the normal sort of specs, but according to the details the battery is dire and only offers a mere one and half hours worth of power, in reality we know that really means around an hour so don’t go too far away from a power point! Features – Intel Core i7-720QM @1.60GHz, 15.6 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 900, an Intel PM55 Express Chipset, 320 GB of HDD, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 GPU with 512 MB of VRAM, 2 GB of memory, a multi-card reader, an USB 2.0×3, an HDMI Output, the Wi-Fi b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet and a battery life of just 1 hour and 30 minutes. Priced at $1,238. Source [Tech Fresh] a new laptop from japan, PC Koubou Laptops, the pc koubou laptop
a

There is no doubt that we are a throwaway society you only have to check out the nearest landfill to see that. However, are there some things that should remain permanent? Take this design for a disposable laptop from Je Sung Park, not only is his design disposable it has been made from recycled materials too! The design is interesting to say the least but there has to be some technical difficulties involved in the manufacturing process, but price will be a major factor in the success of this if it ever reaches the stores.
This would have to be from Taiwan, it is the Doraemon having been made for a firm called KuroKids it does looks remarkably like the classmate computer that is commonly given to kids, you have to suppose that this is commercially oriented move from the company. Everything about this machine speaks out as being a marketing tool for the business, plus the fact that there are only eight hundred of these models being made. Priced at $487 Source [Portable Monkey] a classmate, doraemon, Kids Laptops, laptop, marketing tool, monkey, taiwan
a
