Lenovo were really going for it last week that they brought out the Lenovo W700ds laptop with a screen extension, now they have a rival, this is the one that has two expandable screens, yes, this has three screens in total. This is the Prime Gaming Laptop and has been designed by Kyle Cherry, in total, the screens have a size of twenty six inches, but just looking at the machine, you know that this is cool. No word on cost, but I suppose its not going to be in the bargain basement. Source [Slippery Brick] [Gallery] a bargain basement, brick, Business Laptops, laptop, lenovo, screen extension, screens, six inches
a

Comparable in a number of ways to the Lenovo ThinkPad SL300, the Samsung Q310 happens to some up a little short in the realm of business notebooks. First, a straight specs to price comparison between the two notebooks shows more power in the SL300 for less price. The $1,200 – $1,300 Q310 holds up when it comes to basic performance, sure. And the battery life is solid, if not spectacular like the SL300. Overall, it comes down to a direct price and spec comparison. While the Q310 won;t let you down on performance, it wont beat out the SL300 either. And while graphics may not be the most important option when it comes to business, Samsung offers no upgrade to the built-in Intel graphics setup. So, when other 13″ laptops with the same, or better, specs (the SL300) exist. Why go this way? the same thing could be said of other comparable laptops. If you really want to spend the extra couple hundred, why not get the extra features that are hot right now? If you are dropping $1,300, your keyboard better be backlit, for example. My advice, save the money and go with the Lenovo. What do you think? … Continue reading →
a

When it comes to business machines, there are a few key specs you have too take a look at. First, can a notebook run everything you need it to, can it do it fast? Well, with Lenovo’s ThinkPad SL300, the first answer is an emphatic yes. With the SL300, the 13-inch version of the SL400, you get a Intel Core Duo 2 running at 2.26 GHz, enough power to get you through presentations and even some high-end editing. Plus the 4,500 rpm hard drive will allow you fast access to al those business files. So, speed? Check. Second, what about battery life? Are you going to make it through the day? Well according to Laptop Magazine, the SL300, and its 9-cell battery, can last the entire workday running standard business apps. It’s rare to see Laptop Mag this excited over battery life, which says more about the state of laptop batteries, but: [W]e were blown away by the endurance it offered. Using the LAPTOP Battery Test (continuous Web surfing over Wi-Fi), we saw an epic runtime 8 hours and 52 minutes, more than a business day’s worth of online activity. Sure, configuring the SL300 with the 9-cell battery adds $99 … Continue reading →
a

The next laptop in a long line of Dell business machines, the Dell Latitude E6400 is getting some pretty good reviews around the net. For a starting price of $1,888, the E6400 comes with some pretty powerful business specs. The 5.6 pound weight is mostly from the 9-cell battery that provides better life on long flights, so the extra weight is acceptable. The Intel Core 2 Duo processor is enough to run even the most invasive business programs, and PC Magazine seems pretty impressed with the overall speed of the setup. As far as business notebooks go, you are probably looking for reliable speed and solid battery life. For under $2,000, it’s going to be hard to find a setup better than Dell’s. But, you know. It’s a Dell. The specs, as it were: Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Business Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo P9500 Processor Speed: 2.53 GHz RAM: 2 GB Weight: 5.6 lbs.
