Released in Japan for the moment Asus has added a internal wireless WAN module that supports NTT DoCoMo’s FOMA network that is capable of providing a broadband connection speed of 7.2 Mbps. Although if there are Wi-Fi hotspots around then the user can connect to the internet using the 802.11b/g/n and of course Bluetooth too.

This is an exciting piece of kit, Samsung only announced the launch of these a few weeks ago already they are planning to get them onto the shelves in Korea, unfortunately, there is no sign as to when this device is going to break out into the larger market, and we live in hope.

If this were made to go up directly against it in a straight competition with the Acer Aspire One then some consumers would be hard pressed to choose between the two. In fact, they even look slightly similar too, which is something that has been probably done on purpose rather than design.

This is new ten inch mini laptop from MSI who have been bringing out some very nice machines recently, this is the plus version of the U100, its available in five cool looking colours and apart from having many of the features already in the U100, the U100 Plus does not appear to carry anything extra other look and chip.

The computer maker MSI could be launching a mini laptop that is based on the Google Android operating system, coming from a Chinese news website it looks like they could be showing it off at the Computex 2009 which is being held on the 2nd June.

This is a great looking mini laptop with ten inch display, but there the brilliance ends! It seems that there is little that separates the entire mini laptop market these days with many of the brands all fielding the virtually the same specs, but at least this one has a decent looking design.

Toshiba have been working hard recently first, up they brought out for video specific laptops that offer high specs. Then they come up with a ten inch mini laptop the UX series, it comes in two different colours and not too fantastic specs, as for the price we think that it may on the steep side too.
