This means that owners of an Asus Eee PC 701 can now fit their mini laptop securely. We are not quite sure that this is a great idea, riding a bike can treacherous enough sometimes, without the added distraction of replying to an email or surfing the net at the same time.
The time is getting closer to when Windows 7 will be released and it is already being planned to roll out installed in some netbooks in October, but is it any good? This is question that is playing on minds of many computer users, but netbooks are being sold with XP, which is over eight years old. It is hoped that when Windows 7 is installed on netbooks that sales will go through the roof. However, there is one thing that has come to light when it comes to measuring the two; it seems that Windows 7 is not as kind on the battery as XP is, according to research carried out by Legit Reviews on the Asus Eee PC 1005HA. According to someone from inside of Acer, the company are actually planning on bringing it out by the fall of this year! Obviously there is not much information around as to what the this machine is going to offer, apart from Android that is, but it will be shipped with both Android and Windows XP that means no price reduction, it will also come with a ten inch display, similar to the D250. Source [Netbooked] a 10" Netbooks, acer, Acer Aspire Netbooks, Android, netbook, Netbook Reviews, Netbooks by Size, new model, q3
a

There have been rumours of this machine for a few months now and finally it has come out this Dell is similar to most of their machines with the exception of weight and thickness, these look as if they are built for a tough world, with rubberized cover and an anti microbial keyboard, sounds like a school machine to me! Features of the Dell Latitude 2100 include: A 10-inch display Colourful names such as School Bus Orange, Blue ribbon, Black unit and Red Apple. Like this one for the Dell Mini 10 evolution model 1011, this is being offered at an amazing $299. The 10v as it is also known as is a replacement for the z series Atom, although it still offers the buyer 120 Gb hard disk, 1 Gb memory, Windows XP and the 1.3 mega pixel web cam.
There has been a lot of talk over the recent changes to the IdeaPad S10-2; the casing has a more rounded feel to it, while there are some subtle changes to the keyboard, ports and LED lights.
For anyone that can remember, Palm brought out the Foleo a long time before the mini laptop turned up on the scene; these hand held clamshell devices offered the user a full QWERTY keyboard. The only difference was that the Foleo had to be used with conjunction with the Palm mobile phone in order to be connected. It seems that Palm be bring the Foleo back, but this time it will be a standalone device that is capable of connecting to the internet without the need for an external device. Currently this is only a rumour but it would seem a logical next move from Palm if they want o cash in on a very lucrative market place. Source [Liliputing] a 10" Netbooks, clamshell, foleo, handheld, Palm Netbooks, Palm Netbooks
a
