ViewSonic Launches 10.1 inch Netbook

Before anyone gets excited over the ViewSonic launch this is currently only happening in the UK, the device is known as the VNB106D and according to the specs provided via the company there is little to get excited about, in fact ViewSonic have not even released a price list so we are unable to compare this machine on prices either.

ViewSonic launch the VNB102

This is a netbook that follows the run of the mill, as there are now so many netbooks on the market that in order for one to be better it either has to stand out from the crowd or beat the competition hands down on price.

The VNB102 does neither, its specs are nothing special and it is priced at $399, the average netbook price is $320!

Specs: Intel’s Atom N270, a 10.1 inch display, 160 GB hard-drive, with Windows 7 starter, connectivity by Wi-Fi b/g. no Bluetooth, VGA resolution webcam, 1 GB of RAM and ports include three USB 2.0, VGA, audio in/out, Ethernet, a 3 in 1 memory

Viewsonic get the VNB102 ready

The nice and neat looking Viewsonic VNB102 is a 10.1 inch netbook with a 1024 x 600 resolution. Buyer will get the chance to choose which battery they want, a 3 cell battery is included in the price, but if they prefer a 6 cell battery for longer use, then that will cost another $50.

Viewsonic introduce new laptops

Viewsonic are probably better known for their monitors, but it seems that there are so many gaps in the computer market these days that they have decided to bring their own products out. There are two mini laptops of interest, the VNB 100 and VNB 101 and they are quite interesting.

Features of the VNB 100 and VNB 101

10.2 inch & 102 x 600 pixel displays

2 GB of RAM

802.11b/g Wi-Fi

Bluetooth 2.0

VNB 100 has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU
