As seen at the recent GigaOM Mobilize Expo, the Malata smartbook have been attracting some attention, this is mainly because of the fact that this is something very different from what is already on the market.
It could be said that this is basically an Asus machine that has been redesigned to suit a different market; in this case, it looks like China will be getting first bite at this device.
Are these the two best words around today, “Budget” and “Touchscreen” both apply to the latest offering from the Chinese based Malata computer manufacturing company.
This looks as if it will be directly competing with the Asus Eee PC T91, which is currently priced at $473 on Amazon.
