LG launch the Xnote X170


The X170 is a netbook that uses the dual core Atom N550 Processor, it is the second LG netbook to do so, but this netbook has a special feature and it is called SmartPOP.

We are used to POP mail, but this syncs with your phone, allowing it to completely take over the phones operations such as making and receiving calls and the sending and receiving of sms.

LG have released the latest addition to the x series of netbooks, this is the X140 it comes with a standard 10.1 inch display and all if the usual refinements such as, the 1.83 GHz Intel Atom processor with 2 GB RAM and 320 GB hard drive, as well as the choice of white, pink or black colour options.

LG launch the X200 & T280


Straight from Korea are the X200 and the T280 from LG, these are cool looking and the Specs are right up there with most of the competition. but it seems that as per usual with these launches and announcements the one thing that we are interested in the price has once again been forgotten about or maybe they don’t haven’t worked it out yet!

Netbooks without borders


Say goodbye to those thick bezels around the edges of your netbooks because according to reports coming out of Taiwan states that the big laptop and mini laptop manufactures, which includes Compal, Foxconn and Quanta are getting ready to bring out a netbook with no bezel at all.

Effectively this will mean that the screen will be edge to edge, making it easy to clean etc, as the bezel around any monitor is a dirt trap. One point to remember is that because the bezel has been removed it does not follow that the black screen frame will disappear.

LG quietly passes X20 through the FCC


This machine has been keeping a low profile as the suits at the FCC got down to work, now it has passed the testing stages it would be assumed that this is going to be shipped out now, so it seem logical to think that the LG X20 will be on the shelves within a few weeks.

It has been passed for almost all regions, including Europe, USA and Asia.

LG have released yet another super netbook to take over from the X120, this time LG have put in an Atom N270 processor and it is still running XP!

You do get a choice of colours, black, pink or white, LG have also introduced a nine cell battery for longer use while the user is on the move.
