The computer maker Dell has collaborated with the kids TV channel Nickelodeon to build a special edition netbook aimed at the younger computer user, or maybe not! The netbook can be personalised with characters from the channels shows such as, SpongeBob SquarePants and iCarly. As well as featuring links to Nickelodeon online games and video content.

AT&T expand netbook range

The mobile broadband provider AT&T has added more mini laptops to its subsidised range, as from now new customers will be able to pick up an Acer Aspire One, Dell Inspiron Mini 10, and Lenovo IdeaPad S10.

 

All three machines offer similar specs, 10 inch display, 1 Gb, 160 Gb hard drive, Windows XP and multi touch trackpad. The cost for the machines will $200 when taken on a two year contract at a cost of $40 per month

Its official the Dell has finally laid the nine inch netbook to rest, this should not come as much surprise, we expected it to happen sooner or later, but as with many things we knew it was coming but it is still a shame when the hammer finally falls down on something that has been loved by so many people.

This is a new model from Dell it is a Latitude 2100 and has been marketed for the schools sector. There have been rumours of this machine for a few months now and finally it has come out this Dell is similar to most of their machines with the exception of weight and thickness, these look as if they are built for a tough world, with rubberized cover and an anti microbial keyboard, sounds like a school machine to me!
