News leaks out on new Asus Eee PC

It makes a change to see a new line from Asus it must be at least a couple weeks since the last one, but seriously, news is coming out that Asus will be launching the new Eee PC 1018P, 1016P and 1015P at the up and coming CeBIT event that starts in Germany next week!

These machines are going to be an updated version of the Eee PC 100P, these latest additions to the Asus family will come with an alleged fourteen hours worth of battery life, which has got to be worth looking at.

Asus updates the 1005PE

When any computer company launch a new model and we find that all they have done is added a letter to the end on the model number, this normally means an update to that model and not a new model at all.

This seems to be the case with the Asus Eee PC 1005PE-H is an updated version of the 1005PE and as of yet it is hard to find anything different about this machine, apart from the fact that is has surfaced in France and maybe the difference is more country specific.

Two batteries for the Asus Eee PC 1008P

The Asus Eee PC 1008P is very similar to the 1008HA but with one distinct difference, replacing the battery is not exactly easy on the 1008HA, whereas on the 1008P the manufacturer has built in a door that gives the user access to the battery bay for easy changing.

The PC 701 looks familiar

This is a small easily mobile netbook, that has that little look that it has been seen somewhere before, possibly an Asus even the first netbook that they brought. However the specs are certainly different from those early Asus days.

The 1005PE offers the user everything that they could want from a netbook, but with one exception, the Asus 1005PE offers a battery life of up to fourteen hours and that is operation time, not just sitting there doing nothing.
