Asus has announced that they will be launching a new model, the Eee PC 1015 PEM, it’s a 10.1 inch netbook powered by the Intel 1.5 GHz dual core Atom N550 processor the latest chipset to reach the marketplace.
Currently the Eee PC 1015 PEM is on sale in Europe for 349 Euros; it is available in pink, white and black and will be going on sale in the US shortly for a price that will be in the region of $400 to $450.
For some time the ASUS Eee PC 1016P Seashell 10.1″ Netbook has been on pre sale at Best Buy and other online retailers such as Excalibur, but now it seems that the netbook is to appear on the official Asus website following approval from the FCC.

It was not that long ago when Asus launched the interesting PC 1001 PQ, but already there have been some changes, nothing technical this time, just cosmetic. The firm have introduced the option of new lid designs for the netbook, this time the buyer gets to choose from flame purple or vibrant gold with special stripe stickers should the consumer wish to add a sporty tone to the machine.

How the likes of Asus keeps on top of things is unbelievable, but it seems that they are hitting the retails outlets with three more laptops under the Eee PC range, they are the 1015, 1016P and the 1018. Initially these were seen at the fabulous CeBIT 2010 event, but now they are a reality with prices starting at the $429 they are about average on pricing. Although it has to be said that there is not much sign of the 1015!

This is now using either the Intel Celeron U3400 (1.02GHz) processor and an Intel Core i3 330UM processor (1.2GHz) as their CPU, whatever processor is chosen it will be benefitting from Turbo33 technology allow them to be overclocked by 33 per cent, which is cool!

The latest offering from Asus, the Eee PC 900 AX has been given the go ahead from the FCC, so after the guys at Asus have stopped partying we can expect deliveries of this machine very soon.
