It looks as if Asus are making some slight changes to the brands entry level machines, namely the Asus Eee PC 1001PQ, Asus Eee PC 1001PX, and last but not least the Asus Eee PX 1005PX these are recognised as being the lower end of the market mainly because of the processor and memory. So now these models will be known as the Asus Eee PC 1001PQD, Asus Eee PC 1001PXD, and Asus Eee PC 1005PXD, this means that these entry level netbooks will now be supporting the Intel Atom N455 processor and DDR3 memory, it just goes to show how prices of hard ware have fallen.
