When we see laptops and netbooks they usually come with a designation made up of numbers and letters, but Acer have come up with something a little bit different with the launch of the Aspire One Happy, yes Acer have managed to call their latest netbook “Happy” and strangely enough it is quite amusing.

Acer gets new netbook ready

It’s about time that Acer brought out a new netbook and it seems that we may not have too long to wait as there have been some bug reports filed on Linux and Google Chrome that indicate there is a new machine in works.

From the data filed some basic specs have been determined from a machine that has not been previously heard of, although there is a rumour that the reports are also related to an Acer Laptop that failed to make it to market.

Acer launches the Aspire with Windows and Android

Acer release new 10.1 inch netbook

This is the Aspire One D255 from Acer, it has been doing the rounds for some time but now it has come out of hiding and is looking good too, even though it is based on the familiar D260 but don’t hold that against it! The main difference will be the dual core processor; it uses the Intel Atom N550, which is a good piece of kit to have on board.
